Farm Progress Show soils judging contest: at Farm Progress Show site, Decatur, Illinois. Farm Credit Services and Farm Progress Companies will again sponsor. There is a division for Indiana teams. THERE WILL BE cash awards for teams and individuals as in the past. You may bring as many teams as you like- no entry fee, other than you will have to pay entry fee to the show.

Southeastern Indiana Soils Invitational - Decatur County. Registration 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in Greensburg, Indiana.  Registration will take place in the grass parking lot of St. Mary's Catholic Church which is located on the south side of Greensburg on SR 421 South.  It is located next to Scheidler Glass (148 S. Michigan Ave if using a GPS).  We will drive to the site at 8:35 a.m. (about 5 miles away).. Contest begins at 9 a.m. $4 per person. Tri-County/Benton Central - Registration from 10 am to 3 pm. Cost: $3 per contestant. Format: 2 homesites, 2 agriculture sites, Purdue Format, start at hole one and work at own speed. WE WILL HAVE SCANTRONS!!! BRING A #2 PENCIL. Results: Will be emailed, scorecards will be scanned and emailed, by Tuesday the 13th. Hosted by Saint Joseph's College. The site is located one mile north of Brookston on State Road 43 to County Road 900 South (corner where Con Agra Facility is on the east side of the road), then east 3/4 of a mile to County Road 75 East. Site will be straight ahead at the "T" with extremely easy access for school busses. It is an easy 17 mile drive from the Purdue Agronomy Farm, site of the Purdue Invitational.
